        The GMDA Summer Session will be held on June 6-8, 2012 at Nebraska City, Nebraska (see attached flier).  Nebraska City was the home of J. Sterling Morton who was the founder of Arbor Day and served as Secretary of Agriculture in the 1890's with the Grover Cleveland administration.  His son, Joy Morton started the Morton Salt Company.  Map to Nebraska City.

       Linda Luebbe, (GMDA President) will be organizing the Annual Conference.  She is a Board Member with the Upper Big Blue Natural Resources District in York, Nebraska and can be contacted by home phone at (402)-523-5805 or by cell phone at (402)643-1741.

       The GMDA Annual Conference will be held in early January 2013 in either Austin TX, Las Vegas NV, or Paso Robles CA.  Dean Pennington of the Yazoo Mississippi District is the new GMDA Vice-President and he will make the final decision on Conference location.
